Appointments and what to expect

 

Your first appointment will include a full consultation, including a brief background of your health, this will help to give you the best course of treatment. All information given will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

 

Appointments includes a 10/15 minute initial consultation, subsequent treatments will include a brief catch up as to how you are doing from your last treatment. The first treatments are slightly longer due to the consultation.  I will either do this by phone on the day before or on the day of the treatment.

Every treatment works differently on every individual and no one person is a like, you may feel tired, have a slight headache, feel emotional or have an overwhelming amount of energy after a treatment, all these things are common and is part of the healing process.  Some people can experience a lot of emotion and this is a way of the body releasing any pent up feelings – don’t be alarmed as this is a natural process of healing.

 

I have previously worked with Carers on a voluntary basis for the Trafford Carers Centre, helping carers have some ‘me time’ as it can be a very stressful time for some. Everyone has a different matter they would like to address, I listen to peoples needs and adapt my treatments accordingly.

Reflexology, please check with your provider first before claiming back, some or part costs may be reclaimable, receipts are available on request, these can emailed or handwritten for you BUPA, Simply health, Healthshield, AXA

Please note that all sensitive medical/health information will  be held on site and only and only used if we proceed to treatment, at which time I will require explicit consent from you to hold this data. If we do not proceed to treatment I will erase this information.

As a member of the Association of Reflexologists you are required to attain points in CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training, therefore keeping up with up-to-date information and learning.
